Tips For Waxing:

Hair must be no shorter than 1/4" long for waxing (approximately 2-3 weeks of growth).

If trimming of hair is required, an additional fee will apply. This can be avoided if you trim longer hairs to 1/4" in length prior to your service. (Have your significant other help by using an electric clipper a day or two before your appointment.)

Certain medications and procedures are contraindicated to waxing (i.e., Retin-A, Acutane, injectables, fillers, chemotherapy, recent laser, etc.), so please contact me prior to scheduling an appointment if you're taking any of these medications or have had a recent laser treatment.
- Diabetes and autoimmune disorders may be contraindicated to waxing.

If you tan on a regular basis waxing cannot be performed within 3 days of tanning as your skin is sensitized and may easily tear.

It may be helpful to take the recommended dose of Advil or similar pain reliever 30-60 minutes prior to your appointment to reduce any discomfort.

If you typically have a histamine reaction to waxing (extreme redness and/or puffiness) it may be helpful to take an antihistamine 30-60 minutes prior to waxing.

Gentle exfoliation before waxing will better prepare your skin for the service and, after waxing will help to prevent ingrown hairs.
